The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense is brought in after Sakai attacks one of his associates. Hellboy and a team of agents (including Kate Corrigan) investigate the possessed man's rampage, but when Hellboy picks up a mysterious, discarded samurai sword, he literally disappears into a weird wonderland of Japanese mythology. Kuruvi Location Stills
Following the release of ATM, Vijay has gone forward to his next project Kuruvi being produced by Udhayanidhi and directed by Dharani. The Ghilli team of Dharani, Vijay, Trisha and Prakash Raj are back in action once again and shooting is proceeding at a brisk pace just like any of Dharani's film.
Recently a song was canned at A V M studios where a grandiose set resembling a bar has been erected for this purpose.
Dharani's innovative technique of filming a stunt scene with a song as the backdrop in “Madurai Veeran” in Dhool was much appreciated by everyone. A sequence in a similar pattern is said to be shot making use of the services of hundreds of dance artists, Stuntmen and atmosphere artists. Going by past record, this scene may be all set to roll out a new trend in film industry.

The Financial Plan Section of the Business Plan
It's at the end of your business plan, but the financial plan section is the section that determines whether or not your business idea is viable, and is a key component in determining whether or not your business plan is going to be able to attract any investment in your business idea.
Basically, the financial plan section of the business plan consists of three financial statements, the income statement, the cash flow projection and the balance sheet and a brief explanation/analysis of these three statements.
This article will lead you through the preparation of each of these three financial statements on the following pages. First, however, you need to gather together some of the financial data you'll need to prepare these financial statements for your business plan by examining your expenses.
Think of your business expenses as broken into two categories; your start up expenses and your operating expenses.
All the costs of getting your business up and running go into the start up expenses category.
These expenses may include:
- business registration fees
- business licensing and permits
- starting inventory
- rent deposits
- down payments on property
- down payments on equipment
- utility set up fees
This is just a sampling of start up expenses; your own list will probably expand as soon as you start writing them down.
Operating expenses are the costs of keeping your business running. Think of these as the things you're going to have to pay each month. Your list of operating expenses may include:
- salaries (yours and staff salaries)
- rent or mortage payments
- telecommunications
- utlities
- raw materials
- storage
- distribution
- promotion
- loan payments
- office supplies
- maintenance
Once again, this is just a partial list to get you going. Once you have your operating expenses list complete, the total will show you what it will cost you to keep your business running each month.
Multiply this number by 6, and you have a six month estimate of your operating expenses. Then add this to the total of your start up expenses list, and you'll have a ballpark figure for your complete start up costs.
Now let's look at putting some financial statements for your business plan together, starting with the Income Statement.
Making a home-based business work
Working at home is rapidly becoming the norm rather than the exception. A recent survey conducted by Pacific Bell showed that 43 percent of Bay Area households have members who work at home on a recurring basis. This includes people who either work at home as part of their job or operate a home business. Fifteen percent of Bay Area households operate home businesses.
Home businesses are the fastest growing business sector, and in the process are helping to fuel the economy through job creation, consumer spending, tax revenues, and investment. At the same time, there are stereotypes about home businesses - that the owners are not serious enough about the business to get a real office or that they are just freelancing until they find something better to do.
While this may be true of some home business owners, the majority are very serious about wanting to be successful and need to establish the proper environment. Here are my rules for making a home business work.
Isolate yourself
Running a home business effectively requires someone with the ability to be able to separate business activities from home activities. Having a separate room in your home that is used exclusively for business activities is highly desirable, especially if you have a family.
Your home office should be equipped with whatever you need to have it function like a normal workplace, so that when you are there, you can get things done. Family rules should be established such that when you are in your office, you are not to be disturbed.
Be disciplined
Set regular business hours when you expect to be working, and then stick to the schedule. Treat your home office the same as you would a normal office, only the commute is shorter. When you are in your office, you are working.
Avoid distractions. Don't put a TV in your home office - forget about All My Children and Oprah.
Don't even think about trying to take care of small children while you're supposed to be working. They need more attention than your business does, and there is nothing worse than trying to talk to a potential customer with a screaming kid in the background.
Tools of the trade
Make sure you have the right tools to be productive and give the outside world the impression you are a serious business.
Every home business should have at least one extra phone line for business calls, and preferably another one for fax and computer transmissions. On the equipment side, a phone, fax, and computer in your home office is a must.
I don't see how it is possible to run a business without a computer, even if it is used only for basic applications like word processing or accounting. Anyone on shoestring budget will end up doing a lot of their own work, and a computer can help with many of those activities, such as graphics for presentations/brochures, Internet access, spreadsheets, and other specialized applications.
Brochures and other promotional materials are also necessary prerequisites for any home business. Chances are, you aren't going to be meeting clients in your home, so you need an effective vehicle to market your capabilities.
Many businesses are run out of homes because of convenience: financial, geographical, or otherwise. The important thing to realize is that a home office must still function and be viewed the same as a normal office. After this is accomplished, the rest is just business as usual.

Abraham wanted a new suit, so he bought a nice piece of cloth and then tried to locate a tailor. The first tailor he visited looked at the cloth and measured Abraham, then told him the cloth was not enough to make a suit.
Abraham was unhappy with this opinion and sought another tailor. This tailor measured Abraham, then measured the cloth, and then smiled and said, "There is enough cloth to make a pair of trousers, a coat and a vest, please come back in a week to take your suit."
After a week Abraham came to take his new suit, and saw the tailor's son wearing trousers made of the same cloth. Perplexed, he asked, "Just how could you make a full suit for me and trousers for your son, when the other tailor could not make a suit only?"
"It's very simple," replied the tailor, "The other tailor has two sons."
Berlin (PTI): Notwithstanding an enviable fan following abroad, Bollywood heartthrob Shahrukh Khan feels that "there is no place" for him in Hollywood or European cinema and says that he was more keen on taking the Indian cinema to the global audience.
"There is no place for me in the Hollywood or in the European cinema. I would like to continue to work in India and to take the Indian cinema to the outside world," Khan, who was given a rapturous reception here as he made his debut at the Berlin Film Festival to attend the German premiere of his latest blockbuster "Om Shanti Om", said at a press conference.
Defending Bollywood films, perceived as loud and overly melodramatic by many western audiences, the 42-year-old actor said he wants to help remove some misconceptions about Indian films in the west. "I may be someone to bind Europe and India through films."
"We do express ourselves a little loudly. We wanted people to know that our movies are like this and we're very proud of it," he said.
He also warned against the dangers of "films being eaten up by technology", and suggested that the more technologically advanced western film industry could learn a thing or two about storytelling from Bollywood.
"I love 'Spiderman', 'Superman' ... but sometimes there is nothing beyond the special effects. Maybe our stories would be interesting to take on."
Khan, who was clearly astounded at being received by hysterical fans here, said he had been working in the Indian cinema for the last 17 years and "it is the first time that I feel like a big movie star."
Earlier, a capacity crowd of over 500, predominantly European film fans, danced in ecstasy, clapping and waving their hands as some chartbusters from the film were played in one of the main screening centres of the ongoing 58th Berlinale.
As Shah Rukh Khan appeared on the stage, the audience gave him a standing ovation lasting several minutes, amidst loud cheers and shouts of "Shah Rukh".
Khan urged the European film industry to avail the opportunities for co-production, marketing of technologies and other possibilities offered by India, which is one of world's largest and rapidly expanding film markets.
At the same time, the Indian cinema, which has not changed very much during the last four decades, should look at the changes taking place around the world, he said.
The superstar said he was humbled and touched by the interest in his films and in the Indian cinema shown by film enthusiasts in Germany.
