Aadhavan - Movie Review

Most of the youngsters like Surya. No doubt in that. The most awaiting Surya’s movie Aadhavan has been released for diwali. People eagerly rushed to theatre to see his movie. Director of this movie is K.S. Ravikumar (popular director). This increased the expectation of people more. Being a fan of Surya I am one among them. But on watching the movie really there was no difference from a commercial movie. It was usual commercial story with love.

Story goes like this. Surya is a professional killer. He and his father (Surya is the adopter son for him) agrees to kill one judge and got money from the villain. But unfortunately it was Surya’s real father. So he wanted to save his father from the gang without knowing them. So he is not revealing that he is only his own father. He goes to the judge house as a house cook. Whether he saves his father at the end or not is the climax of the story. Surya’s father is the judge who enquires about a case (about villain) and wanted to produce the report. Surya finally saves his father and produces the report to the government. That is the usual story and climax everyone can easily expect.

Nayantara is the heroine of the story. She comes in comedy or songs alone. More glamour is seen rather than acting. Vadivelu’s comedy is good when compared to his recent movies. Music was done by Harris Jayraj. Songs are simply superb. I enjoyed all the songs.
